Mark’s Mission

Mark bought his first house with the money he saved from his job on cruise ships. He spoke fluently Spanish, German, French and even a little Russian and of course English, his native language.

He had been away from England for three months and the month of November was already entering. They had crossed the Atlantic to Barbados and I was looking forward to return to your new home.

Finally the day came, and when he entered he couldn’t believe it, the house was full of rats. They came and went from one place to another, he thought about calling the fumigator and the owner of the home.

–Hey idiot, what do you think you’re going to do? – one of the rats told him. We are here to help you, you are the chosen one – Now, Mark did not understand anything, and this time he was not joking. The rat climbed onto a wooden bench that Mark built before leaving and, stretching out his paw, said: -Nice to meet you, my name is Jo. Mark, stupefied, could not coordinate his thoughts. The rat was talking and even greeting him! Maybe it was a trick that the whiskey played on him, or it was an absurd dream. No, it wasn’t, Jo was real, and so were the rest of the people around him, Mark. He was not drunk or drugged, nor was he dreaming; So what was happening?

Without saying anything, Jo jumped out of the chair and hit him on the head. –Idiot is not a dream! –he said furiously. Seeing that Mark was not listening to reason, Jo explained to him: –Many years ago; a god terrible sent us the rats as punishment for the sins of humanity; producing many diseases, because of this we rats adopted a repulsive nature and were even hated, it was time for this to change

-What do you mean? –Mark, you are immune to all diseases. You can create vaccines for almost any virus, just with your cells. That will take you a lifetime. Tell me, do you really think it was a coincidence that you bought this house? God’s will exists and now he is putting you to the test. Follow me, maybe then you will understand better.

They went down to the basement and Mark found strange devices; It was the legacy of the former owner of the house. At first it was not easy for Mark to assimilate these events. “Son, you are up for great things,” his father often told him, and he was not wrong. Mark began working and discovered his talent for science, a talent that remained hidden.

The years passed and the plagues ceased without anyone knowing about Mark. However, something worried him; Not having fame! Jo, I always told him “calm down, everything will come”, what Mark didn’t know was that for the first time, he was honoring his own existence and that of many people.

One day, the fame Mark was looking for came.

Now if you allow me to tell you, dear reader, I think I am in a position to tell you that Jo and the entourage were nothing more nor less than angels, angels sent with a single mission; avoid so much suffering.
